CLINTON, Conn. -- Clinton police arrested one of their own last Friday after they said the officer brandished her service weapon inside the police station amid an apparent fight with her husband.

Channel 3 Eyewitness News reporter Leon Collins reported the arrest warrant describes how Officer Susan Koseroski apparently lost control of herself while inside the Clinton Police Department.

However, she told her superiors that she's the victim of an ugly divorce, Collins said.

Collins said the arrest warrant states that police were interviewing the officer's husband about an alleged violation of a restraining order last Friday. Police said a sergeant warned Koseroski to stay away from police headquarters while the interview was in progress.

According to the arrest warrant, Koseroski, 30, barged into the room during the police interview and shouted, "This is (expletive) harassment I'm dealing with. I want him arrested right now."

The warrant then states that Koseroski left the room and went into the dispatch center across the hall. A dispatcher said they witnessed Koseroski removing her service weapon from her holster and pointing it in the direction of the community room where the sergeant was interviewing her estranged husband.

Another dispatcher inside the communication room told investigators that he witnessed Koseroski replace her weapon in her holster, but said he didn't see her point it at the room's bulletproof glass.

Clinton police said there is no surveillance video of the alleged incident inside the dispatch center, but they do have video of Koseroski inside the building at the time.

On Wednesday, police also arrested the husband, Val Koseroski, and charged him with violating a restraining order in another alleged incident prior to last Friday.
